Just 40km from Brisbane lies the sleepy village of Mount Glorious, surrounded by the magnificent environment of the D'Aguilar National Park. Within these tranquil surroundings is Turkey's Nest Rainforest Cottages, an idyllic, peaceful retreat which offers visitors an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
From the moment you enter your cosy, private rainforest cottage you will feel yourself relax. Awake to the sound of bird song, relax on the veranda, visit a local cafe or take a leisurely walk in the National Park. Mt Glorious is a bird watcher's paradise, with over 80 species of Australian native birds seen on the mountain.
At 650m above sea level, Mount Glorious is pleasantly cool in summer. In winter, as mists waft through the rainforest, warm yourself by the fireplace, with a glass of wine, a good book, and our complimentary port and chocolates.

Directions
From Brisbane – follow either Mt Nebo Rd from The Gap (approx 25km), or Mt Glorious Rd through Samford, to the T-intersection of Mt Nebo and Mt Glorious Roads. Continue another 2km along Mt Glorious Rd to the “Mt Glorious Village” sign. Turkey’s Nest is 300 metres on your right, the sixth letterbox (#1780).
From Fernvale. Approx. 5 km outside Fernvale turn right onto Somerset Rd. After approx 15 km turn right onto Northbrook Parkway (Mt Glorious Rd). After about 18 km arrive in Mt Glorious “township” (the road up the range is quite windy so please take care). Drive through the township of Mt Glorious (past the Mt Glorious Cafe) and around the tight, right-hand bend (4 km). You will then pass Fahey Rd on your left.
The road straightens, then as it bends a little to the left you will see a 50km sign. The Turkey’s Nest entrance is immediately after this sign (#1780 Mt Glorious Rd). Please drive slowly as it is difficult to do a U-turn on the road if you miss the driveway. At the bottom of the driveway follow the directions to your cottage.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received less than 14 days prior to arrival, will incur loss of the deposit. A waiver may be made at the discretion of management if all or part of the accommodation period can be re-booked.
Cancellations made more than 14 prior to arrival will receive a full refund, less a $20 processing fee.
